2010-2011 Tuition and Payment Information for Enrolling Families

 

Tuition covers approximately 90% of the actual cost of a StoneBridge education.  The remaining 10% (approximately $700.00 per student) is generated from contributions and fees.  The Annual Fund Campaign is conducted each year to ask for tax-deductible contributions from alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends.  StoneBridge parents will be asked for a gift each year.

 

A “supply list” for each grade level is sent to each enrolled family in July.  Supplies will cost from $100-$150 per child.  Additionally, throughout the year, parents and students will be notified of ancillary expenses such as a fall retreat (grades 6-12), high school yearbook, and other student activities, etc.

FACILITY FEE, STUDENT ACTIVITY AND TECHNOLOGY FEE

A one time fee of $1,000 per family is charged to cover some of the costs of making capital improvements at the current location(s) and/or of securing a new campus, such as searching for the land, working with an architect and consultant and purchasing the property.  This fee may be paid over a one to two year period.  Payment may be made in a lump sum or monthly payments.  There is a $50.00 fee per child to cover the cost of providing technological services to teachers, the library and students.

 

DISCOUNTS

For families enrolling more than one child, we offer the following discounts:

Families with two children enrolled at SBS will receive a 5% discount on the second child’s tuition.  Families with three or more children enrolled at SBS will receive a 35% discount on each child’s tuition, beginning with the third child. 

We also offer a $250 tuition credit for referring other families to StoneBridge School.  Please talk to the Admissions Coordinator regarding the details of this program.

 

EXTENDED CARE

StoneBridge provides a child care service for students after school, on a yearly contract basis, for all the days of the school calendar.  Rates and policy information are available from the office.

 

STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE

The school absorbs the cost of a supplementary school-year student accident insurance plan for each enrolled student.
