Schedule of Events
Upper School Chapel (grades 6-12) - 8:00 a.m.
Upper School Mentoring Visits—8:35-9:00 a.m.
Lower School Chapel (grades PS-5) - 10:00 a.m.
Lower School Classroom Visits—10:45-11:30 a.m.

Lower School Dismissal—11:45 a.m. | Upper School Dismissal—12:25 p.m.

Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments at various locations on campus throughout the morning.

Important Information
  • If you plan to attend, please RSVP here.
  • Parking is first-come, first-serve and reserved for our grandparents and special guests.  All students, parents, and faculty/staff should park at Community Church and use the courtesy shuttles. Once the lot is full, guests will also be asked to park at Community Church.
  • Seating for the Lower School Chapel will open at 9:40 a.m.
  • Grandparents and guests who are unable to attend are invited to send their grandchildren a note to be delivered to them at school that morning. Please include the grandchild’s full name and send no later than Friday, October 13. Mail letters to:

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I am attending the Upper and Lower School activities. Where do I go between the Upper School mentoring visits and the Lower School Chapel?
A: Refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall from 9-10 a.m.

Q: What are the Upper School mentoring visits?
A: After the Upper School Chapel, grandparents and special friends will be escorted by their grandchildren to visit with their mentor and mentoring groups. They will spend one-on-one time with their grandchildren and enjoy a time of fellowship with their mentoring group.

Q: Are accessible/handicap parking spaces available?
A: Yes, parking spaces nearest the auditorium will be reserved for those who require accessible parking. Grandparents may also be dropped off outside of the auditorium entrance.

Q: Will refreshments be served?
A: Yes, light refreshments will be available at various stations throughout the campus.

Q: I am an SBS parent who is driving my child's grandparent to the school on Grandparents' Day. May I park on campus?
A: All parents are asked to reserve the on-campus parking for our grandparents and guests. Please drop the grandparents off at the auditorium and use the courtesy shuttle from Community Church. If further assistance is required, please use the reserved accessible parking.
