Visual Arts

The Lower School Visual Arts program at StoneBridge emphasizes the study of the great masterpieces and the development of artistic skills in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. This helps form and cultivate a student’s imagination, creativity and God-endowed talents or abilities. They explore a wide variety of art media with an emphasis on the Fine Arts. We take a field trip to the Chrysler Museum to reinforce what they have learned in class. In the Spring we have an art festival, the StoneBridge Art Show, to celebrate every student’s creative effort.

In the Upper School, art electives include Foundations of Color and Design, Design Technique and Development, and Communication through the Visual Arts.
